1. IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED TO BE A PHOTOGRAPHER TO TAKE YOUR TOURS? I ONLY TAKE PICTURES FOR FUN WILL I FIT IN?

ABSOLUTELY! Our Photo Palks are for everyone no matter your camera, we’ve even had people doing the walks with their smart phones!!

2. WHAT MAKES YOUR WALKS DIFFERENT?

Photo Walks Cape Town  is unique and the business of first of its kind for Cape Town. All Photo Walks are lead by QUALIFIED LOCAL GUIDES WHO ARE ALSO PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS. So our Walks are not just about seeing the sights but about learning how best to capture them at the same time!

3. WHAT HAPPEN IF IT RAINS?

The beauty of being a photographer is that rain or shine, wind or snow THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING TO PHOTOGRAPH. Often some of the MOST MEMORABLE PHOTOS ARE TAKEN IN 'BAD WEATHER' of course light is affected but this allows for you to EXPERIMENT WITH YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY using flash or working the OVERCAST WEATHER AS A GIANT DIFFUSING FILTER.Then there are of course those MOMENTS WHEN THE SUN PEAKS OUT and against a stormy grey sky the imagery can be phenomenal!

Our Photo Walks operate in light rain but if its bucketing down the walks are cancelled with full refund.

4. WHAT IS THE AGE RANGE OF THE PEOPLE THAT TRAVEL WITH YOU?

There is NO AGE LIMIT as such but a certain level of fitness is required for some walks particular the evening hike. Generally children under 12 unless they have patience to learn will be best left at home.

5. HOW LARGE ARE YOUR GROUPS AND WHAT TRANSPORT IS USED?

Group size is anything from 1 to 12 participants

6. HOW DIFFICULT ARE YOUR WALKS?

Each Walk has a fitness level guideline and for most part are easy gentle walks more about photography than walking however the hike for nature & landscapes does require a moderate level of fitness.

7. WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE TOUR PRICE?

An English speaking Cape Town specialist photography guide who is also an accredited and registered tourism guide

8. WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE TOUR PRICE?

Water, meals, drinks, waters tips for the guides and any items of a purely personal nature.

10. CAN I PAY WITH A CREDIT CARD?

Unfortunately there are currently no facilities to pay by credit card but you are welcome to pay cash on the day

11. HOW DO I PAY FOR THE TOUR ONCE A BOOKING IS CONFIRMED?
CASH PAYMENTS can be made to the guide before the start of the tour

Payments can be DEPOSITED into a South African account, the details can be emailed through to interested parties.

12. WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL?

Cancellations 3 days or more before the tour are given 100% cancellations fees.
Cancellations 2 days or more before the tour are given 100% cancellations fees.
Cancellations 00-01 days before the tour are require to pay the full tour price

12. WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH?

PLEASE BRING: WATER, HAT, WALKING SHOES, SUNSCREEN, CAMERA, PEN & PAPER (OR PHONE TO WRITE) & CAMERA OF COURSE!
