  1. IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED TO BE A PHOTOGRAPHER TO TAKE YOUR TOURS? I ONLY TAKE PICTURES FOR FUN, WILL I FIT IN?
    ABSOLUTELY! Our tours are for photographers meaning anyone with a camera and these days cell phone only photographers are becoming more common place too.People who join range our tours range from NON-PHOTOGRAPHER TRAVEL PARTNERS to ‘CELL PHONEOGRAPHERS’ to THOSE WHO ARE LEARNING to PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS who shoot for competitions and exhibits.Our tours are geared towards taking you to the most photogenic places in a relaxed flexible manner allowing you free time to photograph or learn photography with our guides.


  2. WHAT MAKES YOUR TOURS DIFFERENT?
    Our tours are led by local professional photographers whose knowledge of Cape Town and its locations are second to none plus they understand photographers and their specific needs perfectly as they themselves are professional photographers
    Our tours tend to operate during the BEST LIGHT HOURS and this often CO-INCIDES WITH THE QUIETER TOUR TIMES of late afternoon and early morning WHEN FEW OTHER TOUR COMPANIES ARE OPERATING. Although this is of course is weather dependent which we can’t control!


  3. WHAT HAPPEN IF IT RAINS?
    The beauty of being a photographer is that rain or shine, wind or snow THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING TO PHOTOGRAPH often some of the MOST MEMORABLE PHOTOS ARE TAKEN IN ‘BAD WEATHER’ Of course lighting is affected but this allows for you to EXPERIMENT WITH YOUR PHOTOGRAPHYusing flash or working the OVERCAST WEATHER AS A GIANT FILTERallowing diffused light which is perfect for forest, cityscapes or CLOSE UP MACRO WORK of flowers and insects. Then there are of course those MOMENTS WHEN THE SUN PEAKS OUT and against a stormy grey sky the imagery can be phenomenal!In really heavy rains we postpone or if that’s not possible cancel day tours, on our Fairest Cape tour we use this time to teach post processing


  4. WHAT IS THE AGE RANGE OF THE PEOPLE THAT TRAVEL WITH YOU?
    On our private day tours age is not restricted: photo walks minimum age is 12 years


  5. HOW LARGE ARE YOUR GROUPS?
    PRIVATE GROUP SIZE: ANY SIZE
    PHOTO WALKS: UP TO 12 PARTICIPANTS
    PHOTO JOURNEYS: MAXIMUM 7


  6. HOW DIFFICULT ARE YOUR TRIPS?
    Generally all locations are relatively easy walking if not we do our best to provide an alternative


  7. WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE DAY TOUR PRICE?
    A local qualified English speaking specialist photography guide, comfortable vehicle with space for your equipment, parking fees, toll roads, entrances fees are per each itinerary and bottled waters


  8. WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE DAY TOUR PRICE?
    Meals, drinks, tips for the guides and any items of a purely personal nature


  9. HOW DO I MAKE A BOOKING?

  10. CAN I PAY WITH A CREDIT CARD?
    Unfortunately there are currently no facilities to pay by credit card


  11. HOW DO I PAY FOR THE TOUR ONCE A BOOKING IS CONFIRMED?
    CASH PAYMENTS
    Can be made to the guide before the start of the tour,
    Or
    Payments can be DEPOSITED into a Paypal or bank account, the details of which can be emailed through to interested parties.


  12. WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL?
    Cancellations 30 days or more before the tour are given 100% cancellations fees.
    Cancellations 29-14 days before the tour are given 75% cancellation fees
    Cancellations 13-07 days before the tour are given 50% cancellation fees
    Cancellations 00-06 days before the tour are require to pay the full tour price
