CAPE TOWN PHOTO WALKS INFO:
The best way to photograph a city is to walk it. But knowing where to go, where is safe and the top photo spots isn’t always so straight forward! It is much easier and safer to have local photographer guide you. And this exactly what our photo walks do.
A local photographer takes you on a 3 hour walk showing you the best places to photograph while sharing their tips and techniques to help you better capture Cape Town’s beauty. You bring your camera, water, walking shoes and let us help you.
Our photo walks take place daily and there are four different routes to choose from. We take small groups (max 12) and non-photographer companions are welcome to join (same fee applies).
- 3 hour easy walks (except for landscape hike which has a steep incline start)
- Different routes each day, 4 different routes
- Led by local Cape Town Photography Guide
- In the field tips and techniques
- Please bring water, walking shoes, hats and warm top

This photo walk takes you through the most picturesque parts of the city from the bustling St George’s Mall to the tranquil Company Gardens and finishes with a photographic highlight; the colourful Cape Malay Quarter’s architecture in the Bokaap.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO PHOTOGRAPH ON THIS LANDSCAPE & SUNSET PHOTO WALK
This Nature & Landscape Photo Walk takes you along a beautiful route below Table Mountain with stunning vistas and looks at the techniques of nature & landscape photography. The walk is timed to reach a beautiful view point over ocean for sunset. The descent will be after the sunsets so headlights/torches are essential.

Times | SUMMER (6-9pm) | AUTUMN/SPRING (5-8pm) | WINTER (4-7pm)
Meeting Point: Table Mountain Lower Cable Station @ Hop On/Off Red Bus stop
Finishing Point: Table Mountain Lower Cable Station @ Hop On/Off Red Bus stop
Fitness Level: Reasonably Fit.This is a hike with steps all the way but the ascent and descent are both quite steep (approx 100m gain)
EXTRA: Flashlight/torch, hiking shoes, water, hat and sunscreen, plus a warm top are requirements for this walk
