WHAT YOU WILL BE PHOTOGRAPHING
Beyond the Cape Flats to the north and east of Cape Town lies a portion of the Cape Fold Mountains with its lower slopes green, fertile and mantled with vineyards.
This enchanting region was the first part of South Africa to be occupied by the early settlers outside of Cape Town. Accordingly the area is steeped in history with houses, churches and streets of old. Most were modest to begin but in time with prosperity they developed into grandiose homes with lofts, cellars, slave quarters and court yards some of which can still be seen today.
This is no ordinary wine tour as we have designed it with the photographer in mind. So not only will you have an opportunity to taste the regions world class wines and photograph its beautiful landscapes, vineyards and historical buildings but we will also introduce you to its ‘wild-side’ where you can photograph cheetahs, zebras, ostrich, wildebeest and optionally visit a raptor centre, butterfly world and reptile park.
