A major attraction of travel is meeting the locals. Though South African has blossomed since its 1994 democracy it is still a country of contrast and Cape Town is no exception as the apartheid legacy has still left its scar.
This tour takes you into the high density low income residential areas to interact with locals who rely on their ingenuity, entrepreneurial skills and tenacity to deal with their daily hardships.
As photographers this is an amazing opportunity but sensitivity is paramount and we never take pictures without permission first.
That said we have build up a relationship through our local guides so you will have plenty of opportunity to get meaningful pictures.
Our interaction and tourism here helps to stimulate the local economy.
